Ambassadori Batumi Island is set to become one of the biggest development projects of Batumi and a true gem of Black Sea region! The project aims to build two artificial peninsulas and an island in the sea area right next to Bartskhana and Tamari, with an incredibly big area — 2.5km by 1.5km.
The location was strategically selected because of its easy access to the main transport arteries of the city, and also by being one of the safest in the region because it is shallow and protected from big waves, making it a perfect place for a new holiday area of luxury stays with modern features like wellness centers and spaces to relax.
The visitors and residents of the islands will get:
– Public beaches
– Areas for active sports and quiet relaxation
– Water parks
– Walkways by the sea
– A yacht club
– Schools
– Shopping centers
– Hotels
– Houses and apartments
This project is set to make Batumi real estate investment even more attractive! This will be the first of its kind project in the Black Sea, and will create enormous new areas for luxury real estate and also make the coast stronger and safer! Millions of visitors to Batumi will get the public beach area almost doubled — from 1.7km long to 3.6 kilometers!
The peninsulas will have different categories of constructions, from private to public ones. These will include luxury hotels, public beaches, sports areas, and a water park:
– Southern Peninsula size: about 20 hectares
– Northern Peninsula size: about 20 hectares
– Island size: about 10 hectares
– Length of the protective sea wall: 1.3 kilometers
The project will cost at least 100 million USD to complete. More than 2,000 people will find jobs because of this project. It will take about 7 years to finish building everything. The Northern Peninsula will take 2.5 years to build, the Southern Peninsula will take 2 years, and the island and sea wall will take another 2.5 years.
Currently, the project is awaiting its final approval and licensing to proceed with the development.
